driver's ed in highschool is not up to par. While definitely not the best...I think it does offer some good basics. Much better than teens would learn from most of their parents. Teens need not look far for examples of bad driving skills. At least you learn in driver's ed that you should not talk on the cell phone and that the left lane is for passing and for faster motorist. That's half the battle for me right there.
